A swarm of over 4000 African Killer Bees where spotted near Grapevine lake today spoiling Easter plans for many residents.
“It was terrifying, my kids were fishing earlier today when one got stung and they all ran for the house. We have spent all morning at the Emergency Room since one child got stung 34 times.” Said Jana Stinger of Grapevine.
These bees are not native to the area but are becoming more and more prevalent. Animal control has been called out to try to control the situation but residents are warned to stay inside.
“If allergic, one sting can kill someone in under 5 minutes”. Said John Hive of the Center of Disease Control.
