DETROIT, MI. - GM spokesman Gary Campbell unveiled the latest muscle car from Chevrolet. The 2019 Camaro IROC-Z is the first car with the IROC branding since 1990. There has been a lot of speculation on what the new Camaro would look like and be named, but not too many were expecting the biggest change GM made. The new IROC-Z comes with a brand new engine. The Camaro engineers have been working with the new engine in secret development for nearly two years. It's a supercharged 9.6L V10 with 1,625 horsepower and 1,344 ft. lbs. of torque. When we asked Gary Campbell how fast is this car? He replied "Well, we tested it in Germany last month. We had it on the track and a 6 mile straight away. We'll be revealing those videos at a later date, but I can say this will be the first American production car to go over 320 miles per hour. It's quite a rush".

GM is to announce full specifications this Friday on the Chevrolet website through live stream at 10:00 EDT.
