Raccoons have been released in Flora Illinois to clean up the trash that keeps getting lost out of the new automatic trash trucks. 500 Raccoons will be initially released and if proven successful another 1200 will be released in October. People of Flora have are being warned to please keep your trash locked up or these critters will run off with it. The primary focus is inside the city of Flora but surrounding areas could be effected.
