John Stokes 30 of Goose Creek,SC was arrested Wednesday afternoon after speeding through the city of Goose Creek and reaching speeds of up to 154mph. When Highway Patrolman Corey Johnson put on his cruiser lights he said John Stokes sped up and instantly lost him until Cpt. James Richardson ahead threw out his speed spikes and John Stokes who was in his Coyote Mustang tried to avoid them but a car was in the lane next to him causing Mr. Stokes to run over them and his vehicle was hit with by cruiser in the pit maneuver and was forced to stop and was safely apprehended. Mr.Stokes bond was $50,000 and was later reduced to a PR Bond and was released on Thursday Morning..Mr Stokes next court date will be 9/6/18 @ 9:00am in Berkely County
