Mark Mcleod, 28 of Buena Park was apprehended yesterday after running from authorities. Police say that Mark McLeod used illegal cheats while playing the popular game “Overwatch”, causing mass uproar and protests in the game community.
Meanwhile this afternoon, 5 people were hurt near the intersection of Harbor and Orangethorpe in Fullerton as protestors clashed with supporters of his cheat blog.
For only $1, subscribers to his blog can equip their Overwatch character with a Santa Suit and some type of secret weapon that some are calling unstoppable, and illegal.
It is unclear if Mark McLeod has secured an attorney. He was unavailable for comment stating a gag order. Story developing.
