Today at Rocket Con Developers for the popular game Rocket League announced they will start charging a monthly fee for their cross platform game this January.
Rocket League is a simple multiplayer game where players are able to customize a vehicle and use their designs in a soccer style match along with friends.
With the growing popularity of Rocket League and the introduction of a newly redesigned market where users can sell and trade digital items obtained from inside the game Psyonix believes they can better dedicate the proper support and introduce more content to appease the growing RL community.
Expected early 2019 the new monthly subscription will start at $14.99 and a premium subscription for $19.99 or for the more hard core they will have a $99.99 annual subscription available.
