Sources close to Theo Epstein say he is looking for a new challenge. Just as he did in Boston after breaking their curse, he may do again in Chicago. He’s not just in the market for a new team, rumors are he would like to be a GM in a different sport. The jump isn’t too far fetched, former A’s and Dodgers executive Paul De Podesta jumped from baseball GM to President of Football Operations of the Cleveland Browns. Could Theo be next? The New York native, arguably the best modern day baseball GM, who gave The Redsox their first World Series in 86 years and Cubs their first in over a century, could be heading to football.
