After a report from a local whistleblower, UP reporter Stuart Jameson uncovered a loophole that allows Alabama Department of Human Resources to hire convicted felons. Sources say this has led to dangerous working environments as well as possibly putting the general public in danger.
The Etowah County DA working closely with the FBI has opened a preliminary investigation and is expected to disclose it's findings next week.
