Fearing the might of the US military, the illegal immigrant caravan has dwindled to approximately 8 of its size just 2 days ago. Past immigrant caravans have typically shrunk by about 60 during the course of the journey due to illness, lack of funds, or exhaustion. This time, it is different.
In just two days, nearly 92 of the caravan have turned around or stopped altogether. The reason? Middle Easterners in the group, who have experience fighting against our military, have convinced the immigrants that it is a losing cause, and if they want to eventually seek asylum or lead a life of crime in the United States they should retreat, formulate a new plan, and make an attempt after the elections, when the possibility of a Democratic Congress will make for more favorable conditions.
One proposed plan is to get really drunk, don oversized sombreros and fake mustaches, and attempt to cross into California on May 5th, when they will likely be outnumbered 10 to 1 by actual Americans dressed the same way.
