On November 17th Masahiro tweeted out a new piece of Information that says:
"I know we told you to wait but the excitement is too great for even us to hold back so we proudly announce our first DLC fighter to be: Sans from the Game Undertale that has seen a release for the Nintendo Switch earlier this year".
With this we have confirmation that Indie characters are now playable fighters in smash. Who do you think could be next? Maybe Shantae? Or what about Hollow Knight or Madeline from Celeste? We'll just have to wait and see.
