Chicago Illinois: Using nothing more than his tractor trailer an Indiana truck driver saves hundreds from a fiery pileup on the I-294.
Vehicles of varying nature went to a skidding halt as a pileup started when four vehicles collided and driving lanes went unrecognizable.
Vehicles crossed the lane separating lines even colliding with barriers on both sides.
This caused a no return, unable to move backup. Thinking fast truck driver,”Jeremy Bennett” cleared a path for rescuers using nothing more than his rig pushing vehicles in a straight line allowing rescuers to put out the flames.
Remarkably, there was no damage to his tractor trailer or the vehicles he moved.
“I’ve never seen anything like this!”, one bystander said.
“It was a miracle”, another expressed.
One rescuer responded with,”That guys not just your everyday Joe, he’s a hero!”
“Look, I’m no rookie! I’ve been out here for a while. I knew what had to be done and how to do it. I just did what was necessary, that’s all.” Mr. Bennett said.
Rumors are Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is considering Mr. Bennett for Chicago’s Police & Citizen Award and President Trump is considering handing out another Presidential Medal of Freedom since Tiger Woods was the most recent recipient of the honor.
There is a planned parade in honor of Mr. Bennett’s heroism in Chicago and the Fire and Police unions have planned an all inclusive stay at the stay of Jeremy’s choice with high ranking guests to attend a party in his honor.
President Trump is rumored to have similar options in Jeremy’s honor with a all inclusive stay at either the White House or Trump tower in Washington D.C. with guests. Speakers to be announced.
