In an effort to assure that all the Democratic candidates are able to debate each other in the second debate, the debate format has been simplified. As with the first debate, it will take place over two nights.
The first night will be reserved for the candidates to be introduced and take their places on the stage, with two 20-minute bathroom breaks. The entire debate will take place on the second night.
