The Federal Trade Commission announced on Saturday that it will begin assessing a $2000 fine for anyone caught posting or sharing fake information on Facebook.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, said that his company will cooperate with Federal authorities in identifying those responsible for fake news posts in Facebook or in Messenger. In addition, guilty parties will be placed in Facebook jail for up to 30 days.

The lead investigator for FTC, Elmer Fudd, has retired from hunting scwewy wabbits, and he and his assistant, identified only as "Sam" from Yosemite will devote full attention to reading posts on Facebook.
