A fellow Reddit user, going by the name of "brainlogic2635," has posted some brief information regarding the supposed rumored Sonic Adventure remakes that has been spread amongst the Sonic the Hedgehog fandom.

This post also got removed earlier this morning from its original Subreddit, so to weither this is real or not, it's still remains a mystery.

However, it still seems interesting to take a look at some of information that the supposed former employee has given everyone.

Here is the info from the removed post:

"Good Morning, people of Reddit, and fellow Sonic the Hedgehog fans!

Former SEGA of Europe Employee here. Please read onwards before you try and debunk anything. I have some info regarding the recent rumours of the supposed 'Sonic Adventure remake.'

Yes, it's true... even if it sounds too good to be true. SEGA is developing the two Adventure games as one new remake package. Surprise, surprise.

Iizuka was thinking about this remake idea since around 2016, however, we needed the time, ideas, and resources to start the project.

There is no official name for the remakes yet. It's only known by our SEGA staff team as "Project Rerun," and I do NOT know if they finally thought of a name for it as I resigned from the company a couple of months ago.

They are implementing some new elements and ideas into these remakes from the newer Sonic boost titles.

Both games will apparently have two modes before playing - Rerun & Original.

Rerun Mode is the Adventure remakes with the newly implemented changes and moves sets from the newer Sonic games. Rerun Mode is, for the most part, the "Easy Mode" for the 2 remakes.

Shadow's Enemy Chain Attack from Sonic Forces returns in Rerun Mode, as an example, and Sonic's light speed dash in Rerun Mode SA1 is instant like SA2's Original mode.

Original Mode is self-explanatory - the same game with the updated looks. I haven't personally seen the game yet, however, while I was there, we were simply talking about how the games will simply have the same art style as the originals but in updated, next-generation graphics.

Rerun Mode's music is apparently slightly "altered" music version compared to the Original Mode.

The story is the same throughout both Modes compared to the originals.

Big the Cat is still playable in both SA1's Modes however is no longer required to be played to unlock the final story in both Modes. We were actually debating whether we should make Big's story impact stay the same for the Original mode but we decided to remove the need for it to unlock the final story.

Afterwards, I had to, unfortunately, resign from my position in the company for personal reasons. I doubt I have any other info that I could remember from my time at SEGA and from this project apart from everyone working there being friendly and hardworking people. Even if I did, I don't want to give away too much as it seems a bit too unfair to SEGA.

And keep in mind, I didn't work for Sonic Team specifically - I worked for SEGA of Europe.

I do not know who the actual game developers or "porters" will be for these remakes.

Keep in mind that some of this info might change later in the project's development.

Yes, the recent Adventure tweets from the official Sonic Twitter was intentional and not a coincidence.

I don't know when exactly this project will get officially announced by the team to the public. I've never been told this by anyone, however, expect it to be announced after the movie's release, or at least close to it.

I do not want to give out my personal identity since I do not want any legal action taken against me from SEGA. Simple as that.

Thanks for reading this and take care."

Now, of course, everyone should take this info with a grain of salt. If this is true, then some Sonic the Hedgehog fans might be in for some big suprises over the next couple of years.
