17 year old girl, Lauryn Mauser, from Desert Vista High School contracted the sexually transmitted infection Herpes, sources say. The Arizona Department of Health (ADH) sent a warning statement out today stating "Please educate your teens in safe sex, we want to minimize the amount of DABS in our state as much as possible. Arizona's youth health is one of our biggest priorities. We would like to remind everyone to practice safe sex and abstinence" Ms. Mauser is currently being treated and held quarantined at Phoenix Children's Hospital. We ask anyone who has came into contact with Ms. Mauser to seek medical attetnion as soon as possible. Lauryn Mauser (pictured below) has attented DVHS for two and half years now, experts say anyone that has came in contact with her during that time is at risk.
