Gov. Newsom has had enough of these protests and recent lawsuits being filed against him for taking away citizen's "constitutional rights". Also, with the recent data showing that the new novel coronavirus can infect and easily kill young children and teenagers when they are a lot more unhealthy than they should be. Sunlight also has been proven to show that it doesn't kill the virus at all, and could actually spread faster in the heat than inside. Yesterday at the Sacramento conference at 9:32 a.m., Newsom states:
-"This extended lockdown is for the greater good. I hope that not only can we learn from our economic mistakes in the past, but we can also protect our environment from human killers"
After August 1st, California officials will ease some few restrictions, however the state won't return to normalcy until late 2021. The good news is, though, an official date has finally been set to lift the order, and hopefully won't be extended from there.
