Dirt work has begun where two new businesses will be located at the Stoneybrooke Shopping Center, east of BTC Bank in south Chillicothe. Copeland Development and Construction Co. is the project contractor and according to David Copeland, a 1,700 square-foot Jimmy Johns restaurant and a 4,000 square-foot Starbucks will be built. The dirt work for these buildings will likely be finished within a few weeks with actual construction slated to begin soon afterward. Copeland says that construction should be finished on both buildings by spring of 2021. Ever since US 36 been call "Chicago-Kansas City expressway" more businesses has move in, such as Burgerking,Loves,Wendy's,Comfort inn & suites,Fairfield Inn, and Taco Bell.
