University of Kentucky Cancels Spring Break

Due to an increase in Covid-19 cases, University of Kentucky has cancelled spring break 2022. President Eli Capiluto made the announcement Tuesday afternoon, March 8th, only one week before the break was supposed to take place. He said in an email sent out to the student body, "I thought cancelling break would be the safest course of action to prevent the spread of new cases on campus." The student response has not been positive.
