Joshua Okechuku Chukwuezi aged 37, formally known to his friends as "josh" has been charged with the crime of credit card fraud.
Since 2006, he has been allegedly sending emails to victims in which the email would contain Mr. Chukwuezi asking for bank account details to help victims "transfer the money" and later use this information to steal their funds. Mr Chukwuezi has allegdly stole a total amount of 1.2 million euros from his victims. He is known being held in Mount Joy with the highest security
It is unknown how he entered the country but when questioned he said he was "seeking asylum". According to Irish Intel Mr. Chukwuezi was "always going to get caught" and "it was just a matter of time" His family and friends were shocked to hear such news saying " I'd never associate him with such criminality". Mr. Chukwuezi will have his court hearing in December 2017.
