A Highly secretive, daylong law enforcement operation around the California border with Mexico resulted in the arrest of Rhyan Lowery Also Know for his Stage Name ( El Compa Negro ) on suspicion of being a Mexican drug cartel member, according to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman.
The sting Operation Express took place Tuesday as numerous law enforcement agencies converged on San Ysidro , California which sits on the border with Mexico.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement helped Mexican federal police into the U.S. to keep them safe during the operation, Christensen said.
The sting also netted the seizure of several assault-type weapons and hundreds of pounds of drugs, she said.
“ICE applauds the Government of Mexico for their bold action in taking down this criminal organization and for their continued pressure on the Sinaloa Cartel throughout Mexico,” Christensen said in the statement.
It is unclear whether Lowery had anything to do with the sting. Or was Just at the wrong place at the wrong time. We will keep you updated as we closely fdollow this story.
