The discovery of stolen identity was made when police officers pulled over a silver 2012 KIA in East London in March 2017.
During the traffic stop, officers noticed a mail that was in the passenger seat which they managed to retrieve. Further investigation is being prompted following a realisation the name links to East London gangs.
No additional details about the case were immediately released.
