A Belfast Telegraph journalist has been outed as too big for his boots.
Brett Campbell, who is almost 40, has become known for increasingly regular bouts of showing off.
The Orange man, who up until recently had absolutely no prospects in life, has had as many as five articles in the paper’s “Most Viewed” section.
It has led to his boasting to increase rapidly - resulting in public outcry.
Notoriously nice Catholic Stephen McGeough, who has had the misfortune of knowing Campbell for a number of years, broke character by branding him “an annoying fucking cunt”, while fellow Protestant Kyle Montgomery merely rolled his eyes saying, “you come to expect it”.
Staunch Republican James Mulhall, who trained with him in a danger and unionist part of Northern Ireland, remembers an incident that may be the pinpoint of his cockiness.
“We has a TV day in class and Campbell rocks up in a tweed jacket and braces squealing ‘Oh, can it be me?’,” the hunk said.
Campbell, who until recently was very fat, is now living an anorexic lifestyle.
He was unavailable for comment.
