The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra announced today that it will be moving it’s operations to Indianapolis, Indiana effective immediately.

The BSO musicians have been locked out since June 17th.

Following in the footsteps of the 1984 Baltimore Colts franchise, BSO president Neil Kjome was quoted as saying, “if Indy was good enough for the Colts, it’s good enough for the Baltimore Symphony.”

Rising costs and sagging ticket sales attributed to an extreme revenue slide for the BSO over the past 2 years.
“I guess our European tour, that trip to Hershey Park, and our intergalactic broadcast where we paid $8 billion to team up with NASA scientists really hurt our finances,” stated a violist who wished to remain anonymous.

When asked what would become of the Indianapolis Symphony, President Kjome replied, “there’s already a symphony in Indianapolis?! Rats!”
