Republicans in both the House and the Senate have started working on legislation that would allow President Trump to remain in office until his passing or decides to step down. Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell came up with the idea in early December and quickly gained support from other Senators. The 2 decided to take the idea to the House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy who was intrigued by the idea. Kevin McCarthy introduced the idea to the other House Republican leaders who then decided to work on legislation to make it happen. Details of the Bill have been kept ver quite and little is known about what is contained. When Rand Paul was questioned about the bill, he just smiled.
