Jake atherton from Darwen has been hailed as one of britains most prolific dog collectors.
He currently has 3 dogs which are the same breed and all lookalike but has had more in the past.
We caught up with Jake to get a statement from the 23 year old dog fanatic "ever since I left school I wanted to work on the hotdog stand at crufts as that's where the best view of the dog stage is, I applied but they wouldn't have me due to my tendency to shout in dog noises, I then started to just collect dogs, at one point I had 12 alsatians, 13 pugs, a boxer and 3 whippets, I loved it despite the £1200 a month pedigree chum bill. In the end I got them taken off me as apparently 'dressing up as a dog on weekends and sniffing their bums' wasn't looking after them but I disagree"
We hope Jake can get back on track with his dog collection again but for now we think 3 is enough
