On Halloween 2016 a local DuBois man was awarded what many would call a gift from God or in hockey terms "A gift from Lord Stanley" James Nelson of DuBois received the call around noon of yesterday and was in great shock. He said it has always been a dream for me to be able to get a shot to play with the best. James begins tryouts on December 6th and will run clear up until December 12th. This tryout will test Quickness,Physicality strength & conditioning and many more aspects of professional hockey. Ray Allen who made the call states "We have watched James at many of his XHL games held in Reynoldsville and we feel that his goalie experience can become very key in his shot in the League". Nelson couldn't thanks his family friends and his former players to be able to make it to this point in his short career. Best of luck to James from all of his fellow supporters.
