FBI: Wanted NYC man in teen murder case arrested in his Springfield MA home

Springfield, Mass - A Man wanted in the murder case of a 16-year old girl in NYC has been apprehended in Springfield, Massachusetts late Thursday night according to the FBI.

25-year-old Kenneth Bradshaw was arrested after attempting to flee out of a window in the back of his Forest Park Apartment by FBI agents and Task force Officers of the Springfield Homicide and crime units.

Bradshaw was wanted in connection with the February 23rd homicide of a 16-year-old girl. Police say Bradshaw and three other friends allegedly fired multiple rounds from a handgun into a vehicle during an altercation around 1:00 a.m., according to police. Bradshaw is the last suspect to be brought in for arraignment and questioning in the On going case.

The 16-year-old girl was struck 7 times and died from her injuries, according to officials. The shooting occurred at 555 Bergen Ave, Bronx NY.

Bradshaw is currently being detained at the
Hampden County Jail and House of Correction/
Correctional Center, Ludlow, Massachusetts where he will await extradition proceedings back to New York City
