A Texas man, Gary Jerome, just became Mayor of Austin, Texas. In a recent Interview, Mr. Jerome explained that he didn't even know he was running for Mayor. "I thought I was signing a petition to stop another Whole Foods store from moving into my neighborhood", Jerome stated. He continued, "I'm sick of Hipsters filling the streets with their fedora's and having Pabst Blue Ribbon cans all over the place."
No one can explain why the polled favorites lost to Jerome. "I liked his picture." said one women interviewed leaving the polls.
