A law passed with almost no publicity during the last days of the Obama administration, The Prevention of False Narratives Act, has had a side effect that it's authors, Democrat Lawmakers Jimmy Charbote and Nancy Porbeagle, could not have envisaged.

For the law makes the creation or dissemination of any fictional stories a Federal offence punishable by an unlimited fine and up to 10 years in Federal prison.

A government spokesman, Carl Seabiscuit said: "Even now, two years later, we are having to clean up the messes left by the previous administration. It really is too bad. Charbote and Porbeagle are experienced House members, they should have known better than to draft this sloppy piece of legislation."

It is believed a committee of Supreme Court Justices, chaired by Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh will examine the law to identify if it is constitutional or not.

Until then CNN journalists have been advised not to write any more news copy until the legal position of those writing fictional content has been properly examined.
