Chilling moment gang of killers celebrate with hugs and high-fives after rival was gunned down in the street in East London

Ismail Hadith, 22, was fatally shot while walking along Mare Street in Hackney, East London, on the evening of September 21, 2021. He had suffered eight gunshot wounds to the chest, head and bicep from up to four bullets and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of a passing moped, Newton Junior, 40, and pedestrian Arber Dervishi, 26, were hit by bullets but survived. Mr Junior was shot once in the buttock while Mr Dervishi suffered three gunshot wounds to his legs.

The Old Bailey was told Mr Hadith was associated with a Turnpike Lane gang and had been the intended target of the carefully planned shooting.

A jury deliberated for more than 54 hours to convict co-defendants Ali Arslan, 22, from Hackney, Trey Mohamed, 25, from Hackney, and two 17-year-olds who cannot be identified for legal reasons of murder and two counts of GBH with intent.

The gang used a lavish “Mercedes G Wagon” as a gateway vehicle but later abandoned and set on fire in a successful bid to destroy evidence.

Further Arrest has been made but set free due not enough evidence

Mr Arslan is well known to met police as he has been on many recalls including a jail sentence for 4 years back in 2019 for kidnapping and half a million in cash.

Mr Ali Arslan & Mr Trey Mohammed, have both denied all the allegations and stuck to the “No Comment” code. Both has been let out on strict Bail and tag conditions.

Met Police is kindly asking for any more information about the incident.
