After the Southern Miss game, Currie and the the Tennessee Vols will part ways with Butch Jones. The fans have voiced enough concern and frustration with their head coach. Currie may finally grow balls and buy out Butch’s contract. David Marshall will take over for the remainder of the season.
After the playoffs, with the vols hoping they will make a bowl, Doug Nussmeier will take over as the new head coach for the Vols. We are a bit confused with the decision from the administration with the performance as Florida’s OC. He was brought in to help this struggling offense, but never accomplished what was promised. The Vols may have a new scheme for him, but we believe they will just remain the Vols. More to come about this story after the 4th of November.
