Ireland are one leg away from getting to the world cup in 2018 after a historic 2-1 victory in Copenhagen this evening.
Ireland opened the scoring in the 10th minute thanks to unsung hero harry artur. Soon after Denmark hit back with a goal of their own thanks to werder breman star Thomas Delaney in the 51st minute with a wonder goal.
But soon after Ireland got a 90th minute penalty converted by Shane long to run his end of 6 months without a goal.
Martin o Neill has said to rte that nothing is won yet and anything is possible. He also described the 2 games to be a pyschial 2 legged game and the first one certainly was.
Denmark now travel to Ireland in 3 days time to have another go at it.
