English Pop Boy Band “East 17” Will launch their come back tour this summer in Cork’s biggest musical event Live at the Marquee! The three original members Brian, Tony & Blair will be joined by Richard Crowley stage named “Sally Handsome”. Richard will become the 6th member of East 17 since the band formed in 1991.
When asked how he felt about joining them he said he couldn’t wait to get into Zara to start trying on the lovely hooded jackets. Richard’s dream was always to join the band and give them a renewed chance of making another Christmas no. 1. Richards previous claim to fame was a model for Tan company Sally Hansen. He’s now left that bronze business behind and has his eyes on the music spotlight.
Just two days ago, on the eve’s eve of his 30th Birthday Richard received his sighing contact so he celebrated but going on the biggest booze rush of his life! Waking up the following morning in the very jacket that his new band mates wore as they sang their Christmas Hit “Stay another day”.
Parading around Glanmire in the jacket with friends Shane and Elaine (Eddie) he got some mighty looks to which all he responded with was “Mind your own fucking business, nothing at all to do with ya!”
The band are all set to take the The Marquee by storm this year and will have Cork’s favourite Busker John Dwyer starting their show off!
