The Macon, GA symphony officially closed its doors last evening.
After 4 decades of trying to make music, the symphony decided to put a double bar on its' future.
During the concert, one violist, an oboe, and 3 disgruntled violinists had to be dragged off stage after acting in an unprofessional manner.
"We're not done yet!" Shouted a tall violist from Marietta. Expletives not fit for print could be heard coming from one of the 2nd violinists. An oboist with a reed knife had to be wrestled to the ground and restrained with a garden hose.
When interviewed about the incident, executive director Bob Veto responded by saying, "we are done. In fact, we've been done for quite some time now."
