If you haven't been living under a rock then chances are you have either heard of or watched HBO's most successful show, Game of Thrones. Fans have been outraged by the fact that recent decisions by the series' writers and directors have shortened season 7 of the hit show by 3 whole episodes. To top it all off it has recently been confirmed that the final season, which was supposed to be season 8 will only boast a total of 6 episodes.

But fear not my Lords and Ladies, a recent interview with the shows' creators, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss has possibly confirmed a season 9. We asked if they could give any insight into why the decision was made to virtually almost cut the final season in half. David responded with "Well, I think the fans will appreciate it more because each episode will be feature length". But as the interview went on we started asking more pressing questions. We asked "Do you think season 7 was predictable in terms of plotlines?". David responds by saying the following "Well, as the story goes on I think its natural for the story to become more predictable. But don't worry with what we have in store for seasons 8 & 9 will blow everyone away". D.B. Went on to confirm that the series will be renewed for a season 9. When asked, David simply responded by saying "The show must go on". Season 8 is set to start filming by the end of this month and will aire on HBO in mid 2019.
