City of Austin has appointed a new Chief of Police . William (Bill) P. Crews was appointed Chief of Police at today's council meeting. His experience of over 30 years in Law Enforcement with 5 different entities was the decision maker for the job. He will bring new ideas from his experience and will be a great asset to this city and the Department.
