Cher, born Cherilyn Sarkisian, was found dead inside a house in Los Angeles
that burned down earlier today.
Born May 20, 1946 (age 71), Chers body was discovered in the basement of the home in the 5200 block of Danburn after firefighters got the flames under control.
Another man was found inside the home and was taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The surviving victim, who lived at the house, has not been identified.
The Chief Medical Examiner’s Office stated a autopsy would need to be conducted to determine the cause and manner of death, the results of which are still pending.
Investigaters have stated no one has been arrested or charged in connection to the fire or Chers death.
