In a stunning announcement, Polish prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced that U.S. President Donald Trump would be welcome to become a Polish citizen in an address before the Sejm. Morawiecki further announced that Trump would then be able to run for the Presidency of Poland during the next elections, and would probably win.
In recent polls, Trump has been pulling down very large numbers - much larger than any potential Polish candidate. "If we could, we would make Trump King of Poland" - stated Morawiecki. The move would bring Trump much closer to his most vocal nemesis in Merkel and Macron and could spark a Europe-wide movement to stop immigration.
