In a deal that has said to be in the works for over two years Peter Jackson puts pen to paper and signs to created a 3 part movie trilogy making up the backstory of one of the most successful TV shows of all time. "Roberts Rebellion" Will consist of 3 movies from the start of the uprising to the final blow of the Kingslayer.
Filming will begin in July of 2018 and will take place in London, Iceland, Texas, and New Mexico.
