A chocolate lab named Sophie Layton is suddenly famous! She has just arrived at her new home and has already taken up turtle hunting. One of her offspring, Winnie, has been hunting turtle on the Layton property for almost three years. The family thought Winnie just enjoyed finding creatures and bringing them home. Now that her mother has joined the family, the Laytons realize the trait must have been inherited! "The first time Sophie brought us a turtle, we realized that turtle hunting must be in her blood," said Jennifer Layton. Sophie and Winnie spend their days wandering the 5 acre property in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. Every day is an adventure!
