Concerns over tainted candy in the previous years along with finding razor blades and other harmful items that put children at danger, the Province has decided that there will be no trick or treating this year door to do. Instead they are suggesting that community centers or schools have Halloween parties for the children with parents bringing treats to share at the party. They said not only will it be safer treats for the children that it will also protect children from being injured while out trick or treating and hopefully the older kids will stay home off the streets instead of out getting into mischief.
