A Great White Shark was spotted in the Maumee river this or week. A group of water skiers spotted what they thought was a log or debris in the river, as they approached the debris it the Shark leaped out of the water and swam away very fast. DNR and the Henry County Sheriff have confirmed many other sightings. A marine biologist from The University of Toledo doubts it is actually a Great White Shark but maybe an extraordinarily large carp.
