Numerous complaints have been registered of a small hairless fox attacking many family pets on the evening of Sunday July 16th, 2017 in small town Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Witnesses claim to have seen a hairless fox or coyote aggressively roaming a local park just off of Whites Road forcing authorities to zone off the location. As many as 13 calls have been reported to Lansdale Borough Police reporting similar concerns. Lansdale native Kirsten Zebluim explained a few moments of her encounter. "At first my son mentioned seeing a lost dog. It was acting funny near a trash can so I took a picture.(image shown) It noticed us and we soon realized it was not friendly as it had a bloody groundhog in its mouth. It was scary. I picked up my kids and just ran. We left our things at the park. We went back later to get our stuff to find it only ate the beef jerky and my daughter's stroller was torn apart! I swear it was like one of those chupacabra things people joke about." There has been no official statement from Chief Robert McDyre. Local Humane Animal Control officials highly advise that all Lansdale residents keep young children and pets inside or on leashes until further notice. Animal control have strategically organized more than 40 traps throughout the area in hopes of capture. Updates are expected to be released the afternoon of Monday July 17th on the Lansdale Borough Police Department webpage. Officials encourage all residents to avoid this animal and alert the police immediately.
