In an announcement released today from its home office in Springdale, Tyson Foods has confirmed rumors that it will construct a 70 foot tall chicken statue on top of Saunders Heights in Berryville. "This is chicken country and we want the world to know it" stated Tyson's CEO Tom Hayes. Locals are excited about the statue and the excitement it will bring to the area. "Seeing that chicken perched up there on that mountain in all its glory gives me the motivation I need to make it another day" says Green Forest resident and Tyson poultry grower Chris Meador.
