Monday morning the owner of a local farm directly behind an established subdivision in Eldersburg, Maryland know as Long Meadows, saw a large Black Bear on his property. It is believed to be living just behind the northern most row on homes in a small wooded area. Residents are being urged to keep small pets indoors and be cautious when going out for walks. Black Bears are not normally aggressive but this particular bear did run after a young person on a bicycle at the end of Rolling View Drive.
