Benzie county has passed a clothing optional ordinance for all townships in the county. Local authorities voted unanimously to the new ordinance. "This is a great day for all Benzie county residents" was overheard from a crowd of people in different stages of undress running out of the courthouse after the passing of the new ordinance. Car horns could be heard as the nudists of all genders and ages ran up and down the street in downtown Beulah.
